Key Use Cases

Use-case 1: Reservation is booked for a new client in Seaware.​

Steps: In Seaware, create a reservation on behalf of an existing Agency/Agent for a new household and book a cabin for a new client.

Success criteria: In Salesforce, ensure that the reservation is added to the newly created Household account, the reservation guest is linked to the reservation and the newly created Client Contact in Salesforce, and the reservation is linked to the given Agency and Agent.

Use-case 2: Existing Reservation is cancelled in Seaware.​

Steps: In Seaware, submit the cancellation of a reservation, which is synced with Salesforce.

Success criteria: In Salesforce, the status of the reservation is updated to the 'CX' value, and the Cancellation Date and Cancellation Reason on the Reservation are populated.

Use-case 3: New agency is registered in Seaware.​

Steps: In Seaware, add a new Agency.

Success criteria: In Salesforce, ensure that the new Agency Account is created with the correct data and has the Seaware id populated.

Use-case 4: New Agent is registered for the existing Agency in Salesforce.​

Steps: In Salesforce, add a new Contact Agent to the existing Agency Account, which is synced with Seaware and linked to records.

Success criteria: In Seaware, ensure that the new Agent is created with the correct data mapping, and the Agent in Salesforce is updated with the appropriate Seaware id.

Use-case 5: Changes are made in the Household Account record (e.g., Address change) in Salesforce.​

Steps: In Salesforce, make changes in the Household Account record, which is synced with Seaware.

Success criteria: Ensure that adjusted field values are propagated to the corresponding Household record in Seaware.
